JW Law was established by Julia Wylie in 2001 with the aim of providing practical, commercial legal advice to charities and businesses at a reasonable cost.

JW Law is the practice name of Julia Wylie, a sole practitioner.

Julia is a solicitor and qualified in 1996. Before setting up JW Law, Julia worked in-house at the RSPCA. As the RSPCA’s Commercial Solicitor, Julia was responsible for the charity’s full range of commercial contracts as well as advising on commercial issues. Prior to that Julia was an Associate in the Company and Commercial Department of the commercial law firm, Steele Raymond.

Julia focuses on work where she has relevant experience and JW Law’s fees are extremely competitive compared with other commercial solicitors.

Where a project requires additional assistance outside Julia’s own area of expertise, she works closely with various other firms and Trade Mark agents providing specialist advice. Julia can assist by liaising with those firms on your behalf, helping to minimise fees by restricting the input from more expensive firms to the specific areas required.
